Sons of Confederate Veterans 1896

This is on my dad's license plate.I didn't expect to find it online though.I only know of one or two people in our family that fought in the Civil War as a Confederate soldier.There's more know,but we can never get our "Bryan" family papers. Basically,that's our Irish side of the family.The Gordon's are Scottish.So yeah,but the one I know of was very sick.He had *runs to go get papers* relapse of measles which caused respiratory disease.He got captured,but he didn't get killed during the Civil War.but he did die in the Civil War(sorry 'bout that).He was on the Gordon side,but he's still related to me. I might try to find a picture of him,though I doubt I'll find one.
